Coolants: What You Need to Know to Prevent Downtime
Sponsored By D-A Lubricant Company, Inc.
Did you know coolant is just as important as your engine oil when it comes to your fleet? Coolant needs to be monitored and tested because mechanical and/or chemical reactions can take place hindering the performance of the coolant. Coolant can break down and become less effective over time. Not monitoring the coolant could result in corrosion and/or sludge, which can impact proper function of the cooling system. If the cooling system becomes damaged, you risk the possibility of the engine overheating causing downtime for your business.

Kinedyne is rolling out its new demo truck to showcase its core products and a selection of optimization products that increase usable trailer space and speed loading/unloading to deliver efficiency, profitability and driver safety.
The demo truck is upfitted with a Kinedyne Kin-Sider trailer curtain system on one side and Kin-Slider on the other. According to the manufacturer, Kinedyne’s Kin-Sider and Kin-Slider curtain-side products provide easier access to cargo from anywhere on the trailer, enable cross-docking, eliminate tarping or roll-up doors, and facilitate loading and unloading from ground level with a forklift. Kin-Slider, a curtain-side with a smooth sliding door with single-point release is also featured. The truck also features information about the new Kold-Front Refrigerated Curtain System.
Inside the truck, Kinedyne has installed its Kaptive Beam K1 and K2 double-decking systems. These systems double the capacity of a dry van or box truck, making it possible to securely carry up to twice as much freight with less equipment and fewer drivers, for significant bottom-line savings, the manufacturer said.
